Kenron is now in the growing stage of his NICU stay. He's doing so well being off the oxygen and his meds. Now they are just trying to get him to eat and grow so he can go home to his family. Today the doctors added 24 calories to his 31 ml of milk. He's doing well with his feedings. His weight was up slightly to 3 lbs 13.75 oz. Any weight gain is pretty exciting at this point. He is still able to practice non-nutrient breast feeding and he is doing so well with it. Dana was able to hold him a lot today and although he was pretty sleepy most of the day he loved the bonding time he had with Mommy. Kenron pooped green today- which may be TMI for most people but the nurses said that usually means his body is trying to lower his bili ruben levens on it's own. The nurses will check his levels again in the morning to see if they have gone up. Grandma Karen and Aunt Brit able to visit with him today and he loves when they come to see him. He's so sad they live so far away so he definitely loves having them here.
