Day 18- September 11th

Weekends are one of Kenron's favorite things. It means Daddy gets to come out and for 2 whole days they get to feel like a real family. Todd came out today to spend a couple of days with Kenron. He said he is shocked every time he comes out because he looks like a totally different baby. He gets bigger and better every week. Kenron is up to 4 lb 7 oz today. They upped his feedings to 38 ml. He is maintaining his temperature a lot better on his own today. He didn't need any extra help. He did have a couple of desats through the night and a few during the day. The nurses will continue to watch him closely but this is normal for a baby who is still not meant to be born for another 5 weeks. Kenron is getting antsy about coming home and has continued to pull his feeding tube out. He assumes if he pulls it out enough they will just give up and let him go home. He is a crafty bugger. Kenron did great with his breast feedings today. The nurses were very impressed with him. Kenron also loved weekends because that's when most of his visitors come to see him. Today he got to meet Great Grandpa and Grandma Haslem. He loves meeting new people. He feels very lucky to have so many people who love him so much.
