Day 12- September 5th

Kenron had such a big day today. The doctors turned off the isolette early this morning and moved him into a crib. He seems less fragile now that he is not locked up and he is wearing pajamas. It's so exciting to see his progress. Kenron got sick today and threw up. The doctors were concerned so they ordered x-rays and blood tests. They were worried he might have an infection but they didn't find anything in the x-rays and nothing showed up in the blood work. They are just going to keep an eye on him for now to make sure it doesn't turn into anything serious. Kenron was so brave when they came to draw blood. He didn't cry at all. The nurses weighed him on a new scale today and he weighed in at 3 lb. 14.5 oz. The nurses said because they weighed him on a new scale it doesn't necessarily
mean he lost that much weight. Kenron was very gassy today. He had a lot of visitors and he farted most of the time they were there. He even released one that could have been mistaken for a full grown adult fart. He had so many visitorstoday. He loves all the attention he gets. Grandpa Deron, Grandma Julie, Uncle Cameron and Aunt Halle all c
ame out to see him. It was the first time that Grandpa Deron, Uncle Cameron and Aunt Halle had seen him. They were all so excited to finally meet this little guy. Great Aunt JoLyn came to visit too. He loves meeting new people.
