Kenron had a very good day today. He went from 2 mouth feedings a day to 4. Which is very exciting news because in order to go home he has to be able to take all 8 feedings by mouth every day. The nurses were excited about this change and said from this point on he will probably progress very quickly. Kenron weighs 4 lb 9 oz today and he is 17 1/4 inches long. He is still getting very tired at his feedings. He starts off very strong and usually ends up falling asleep so he finishes his feedings through a tube. We are grateful he is starting off strong though. It gives us something to work with. Todd was able to give him his first bottle today. He was still too sleepy to take most of it but it was exciting for Daddy to be able to feed him. Kenron got to spend the day with Mommy and Daddy which he loves and after Daddy left he snuggled with Mommy for a long time. Which Mommy loves! To show Mommy how much he loves her Kenron tried to cover her in poop at one of his night changings. Luckily Mommy is getting much faster at moving her hands and he only managed to cover his wipe and diaper. He is definitely all boy!
